bigfoot got no time for jetlag

Hey everyone!

As some of you already know, I made it here safe and sound! (yaay)

Bigfoot Bigfoot! Was the only words anyone uttered about my boots. And it came from the tiniest security guard in Thailand, along with a big smile as he pointed and waived towards my feet…! A picture with this hero would have been the best, but you’re not allowed to use your camera in or around the security area so sorry…

Anyways, mr Ramsay himself was waiting for me when I got to the airport. As soon as we got to the car we exchanged “welcome gifts” I handed over a stock of snus and in that exact same moment Chris handed over a mix of the different aussie beers worthy a go. After alot of hours without sleep I couldn’t have asked for a better gift.

Since I got here its been fun things nonstop. Today was actually the first day that we didn’t do anything at all, but since we were hungover and the weather was shit, we deserved a day off. We got to the house about late Thursday and on Friday morning me and Bucky (roomie) headed for the snow. Chris had some dire work to do so he had to stay home. We chose to go to the closest resort which is about an hour and a half away. Its called mnt Baw Baw (pronounced båw båw) and at the moment it might possibly have the smallest park ever seen. Don’t get me wrong, I had so much fun just being on a board again! But as they just now got enough snow to cover the hill, they didnt have anything but a mini mini mini park setup. Apparently when they get more snow, they turn the whole hill into multiple parks with small features everywhere and its gonna be awesome!!

Yesterday ( saturday) got spent getting a quick tour of the island, animals, beaches and worksites. And since its only saturday once a week, we had to hit the pub to see whats what. The island itself doesn’t have a pub, as it just burned down, but there’s two close by. One is called The white pub and the other one the brown pub… haha. Even I can remember that. So after a night full of Shirta’s kegs and wild turkey hunts im fairly beat… and the jetlag has once again made itself heard.. I’m off to bed. See you at work tomorrow.
